Oh, my goodness me. It's complex. The law. It's complex. It just is. We'd all love it to be simple. We'd all love to go off and do something constructive like build houses or write poetry, or sell fast cars....BUT....people cheat and lie and steal and they have to be stopped, and the people that they are cheating and lying to and stealing from have to be helped USING THE LAW, which is JUST NOT SIMPLE. Of course if Henry II had been Dyson LJ he would perhaps have said " Tell you what, we won't have torts and contracts and rules and that. Let's just do what we feel like on the day of trial" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH
