But why is the Law Society conducting this survey about which firms are holding a color line that perforce discriminates for and against people based on race or gender ? The LS should be condemning this practice, not applauding it... ‘We remain firmly committed to our DEI principles and to ensuring equity of opportunity is at the core of our efforts in providing a fair [?] workplace for all.’... It should be observed that equity of opportunity is quite different from equality of opportunity and results in choices made by race or gender and not merit.
