Unless someone seriously lacks capacity they will not need a roadmap in order to make a complaint about service which they feel could have been better. This infantilises clients and adds yet more regulatory burden to solicitors. We publish our complaints procedure on our website and it is also contained in our client care letter. Pointing out at the end of a matter once again what the procedure is will only encourage clients to have a go at getting their fees reduced.
