In the comments on another Gazette article it was asserted that (paraphrasing) when anyone evokes Nazism as a modern-day risk, their comments should be automatically disregarded.

Much the same can be said of “activist judge”. This nonsense phrase has come to mean nothing more than a judge who has the temerity to make a finding in law that fails to align with your personal opinion, informed or otherwise.

It suggests a rather fundamental lack of understanding about the basics of the rule of law. Surprising to see on these pages.
