Someone should spare a thought for the poor pro bono clients.

The comments of Anonymous at 01.21 makes the point why no one should be forced to undertake pro bono.

The thought of him/her sitting in a pro bono surgery giving advice as quickly as possible in order to get out of there is horrendous.

Volunteer lawyers giving pro bono advice are wonderful. Conscripts not so much.
