Christopher, thanks for your comments, this is exactly the kind of discussion that is healthy for this space. I don't think it is about how one labels different parties but about satisfaction of the person paying for the advice and service they receive.

My personal view was that solicitors and conveyances were often, wrongly, criticised in the process because they were continually being chased by the different stakeholders in the buying or selling of a property. It's important to note that our technology is not a deal room. It gives the right level of progression insight, which is very different for each party and removes a lot of the hounding of the legal professional, leaving them to deliver the wise and confidential advice you refer to.

Technology is certainly not new, but the ways to communicate have changed considerably over the past 30 years and, from research we conducted, clients like to have options of touching base and seeing where they are within the process at their fingertips.
