He might be right in theory (though comments below suggest otherwise), but the statistics of the proportion of listed firms having financial problems v other firms having financial problems don't seem to support Mr Passmore's proposition.

Perhaps the numbers of listed firms are too small to form a statistical sample (I'm not a statistician), or is it just a failing experiment?
