The mantra that equality of opportunity (be it re education; race; sex etc) is an achievable goal for the human race is a false one that leads people to try to reach an unrealistic utopia. Human beings by their very nature seek to be superior to others and will use any method whatsoever to achieve that. we can dampen down the excesses to some degree, but that is our fundamental nature. you may as well complain about your fingernails growing.
