It would help if judges didn't fall for claimant's sob stories and then shove the results of the claimant's commercial misjudgements onto solicitor's insurers.

We have judges who would rather feel good about helping the 'unfortunate' rather than applying a more rigorous approach to causation.

In fact it is the big institutions rather than individual clients that are taking most advantage from judicial feebleness.

Solicitor's are the fall guys for every client with a subjectively perceived grievance,

That is why our insurance is expensive.
