(1) positive discrimination is exactly what women shouldn't want. If they are promoted on the basis of their gender rather than ability then they will lose, and so will their business.
(2) as a father of 2 young boys, the role of my wife during their early years is vital. If a woman has children then, in my experience, she has to put them first. My children couldn't live without their mother being around. I think it would be morally incorrect for a mother to leave her children and go to work. If that mother happens to be a lawyer in a big City law firm then she has to make a choice between her family and work (why argue about VAT at 2.00 am when you could and should be with your family). That is my view based on my experience. Ladies do you want a balanced family, or working late at night and some money, no children, or you don't get time to be with your family?
