"...fuelled by former personal injury firms migrating to clin. neg work.." Even if this were true (which the timings make it self-evident nonsense), all other industries and services in the UK are praised for making commercial decisions and finding new markets in the face of change. Why are legal services regarded differently? Should firms just fold if margins in their core business come under threat? I doubt if SRA would approve of this response.
