If practitioners accept that the operational processes of 10 or even 5 years ago are not going to maintain profits and incomes then productivity increases are going to be key drivers for future legal prosperity. The smart application of Information technology offers solutions but many are reluctant to consider them. There is a revolution in legal services delivery occurring now and it is driven by the simple economic imperative that costs are rising faster than fee income.
