I find it difficult to understand why Mr Smith of all people decided to put up with shoddy work from his probate lawyers.

Why not write a letter of complaint immediately and then if still silence dis-instruct the firm and complain to our friends at the Ombudsman...?

Working in this 'new paradigm' will only be realistic once the agencies we all interact with (Courts, Tribunals, Land Registry etc) are all fully geared up to handle stuff without the grunt.

And yet still in Mr Smith's brave new world a computer aint going to draft up that witness statement, prepare that skeleton argument, or go along to Court...
