Why on earth referral fees were ever allowed in the first place is absolutely beyond me.

Why CMCs were ever allowed is also beyond me.

Why anyone would think it shocking that outfits like the one above did what they did, believing they had open season is not beyond me. It's been happening for far too long, and far too often.

Please PLEASE go after those firms that breach the referral code. The market has been skewed for far too long.

..and while you're at it - get rid of CMCs and referral fees too eh?
