Seems to be a lot of baiting going on here which is a bit childish although some of the reactions are also over the top.

Calling having children a 'lifestyle' choice as opposed to just a choice makes it sound as trivial as getting a tattoo, which it isn't. It is, though, certainly a 'choice' freely made, albeit one (usually) made by a couple, although less and less so these days.

There is a genuine, sensible, debate to be had but I can't see that happening any time soon. For better or for worse (mainly worse), Anon @ 5.11 is right - in the real world the billable hour dominates everything.
