This is absolute idiocy. Insurers will now insist that files are kept indefinitely, which they will have to be as if anyone complains how can you deal with it without the file? For sole practitioners and small firms it is a disaster for anyone that wants to retire and close their practice as they will be faced with indefinite run-off insurance - just imagine lining the pockets of the insurers until you die! And apparently this will not affect us? Is there anyone at LeO that knows anything about our profession - for that matter is there anyone at LeO that has even half a brain!! I ask as only a moron could come up with something so stupid.
