I would have a great deal more sympathy for the ResPublica report and for the attitude and steps taken by Michael Gove if I knew and they could prove the following. In the case of Michael Gove that he pays his costs of running his office including a fair share of H o C rent, business rates, secretarial staff, staff, costs of communication and transport out of his ministerial and MP's salary. In the case of those at ResPublica responsible for this report that they pay their fair share of that concern's costs out of their salaries.
