The whole miserable exercise has inflicted huge amounts of anxiety on thousands of hard working criminal lawyers not to mention the massive costs they have had to bear in terms of lost fee earning time, accountants fees etc.

The process cannot continue and when it is discarded Gove must move immediately to clean out the Augean Stables of the LAA starting with the Directors on whose watch this sorry episode occurred.
