Anonymous22 December 2015 08:21 pm...claims are not pursued for lining the pockets of the legal advisor. They are employees (usually) themselves and the cost is irrelevant. Yes, we need work to survive but we do not think 'this is only worth £5,000 but we can mate £20,000' (Anonymous22 December 2015 10:11 pm - there are still claims that Anonymous22 December 2015 08:21 pm suggests). I see a new client, I see someone who needs help. I get them the answers they need whether I get paid or not. Sometimes its good news (tbh - I say that the more compensation I obtain the worse they are injured so its bitter sweet) but a lot of time, I tell them there is no claim which, although at first is disappointing to them, at least they know what happened, why it happened and why it was not compensatable. A lot of the people I act for just want the answers to the questions that someone else should provide for free!

Yes, I am Claimant but I don't see doom and gloom. I am confident in my own abilities that I will continue to practice. But, if not, then the amount of money I earn for the hours I do could be matched anywhere in any job. Even retail would not be far off the pay currently received...so I do not fret.
