I would be confident that facts, figures and evidence makes absolutely not one jot of difference to this government's decision making. When they come out with projections to justify their deeply flawed policies they're very often miles out and always miles out in their favour. Like Employment Tribunals. Projection, if we cut fees we reckon 60-odd % will qualify for fee redemption. Reality, only 20-odd % actually do. They're never have such a bad projection go the other way would they. They'd never say, only 2% would qualify for fee redemption but alas, turns out it's over 20%. No. For my money the whole system stinks, is a whitewash and is top to bottom intellectual dishonesty and it's endemic.
