David Carrod, do you in fact charge, and do you have indemnity insurance to protect anyone who might feel that you had been negligent in advising or representing them?

I do think that there is an argument for regualtion and there to be a requirment that if someone wishes to charge for their services, that they should also be required to be regulated and to face the same standards and duty of care as a professional.

I don;t think hat that interferes with anyone's right to be represented by whomever they chose, but it would ensure that there was clarity about what (if any) protection those chosing the sheaper options would have.
