It is OK. They have jacked up court fees 200% and 400% from April, so even if a CFA could be agreed no solicitor could afford to cover court fees. So, the failure caused by CFAs is now irrelevant because they were able to stop people using courts another way (court fees). So, the tory government has come full circle. Legal aid is non existent and access to the courts is now reserved only for those eminent billionaires who give to the party coffers. Between Blair's Labour Government and the three Tory Governments (pre 1997 and post 2010) they really have removed the Court system to the plebs from the country that was previously held out as creating access to the Courts - and they managed to do it just in time for the Magna Carta celebrations too - how perfect was their timing?
