I enjoyed reading this article. I don't think Lloyd George can be blamed for being deceived by Hitler. The Nazis were arch-deceivers. They fooled many politicians, diplomats, business men and even the majority of the German people. One only has to think about the Berlin Olympics so see how effective their propaganda machine was.
