What on earth are these people thinking? They are jumping from one hairbrained idea to the next????

I agree that as a result of the LSA2007 the status of legal regulation in England & Wales is an absolute shambles, but this proposal removes the entire concept of professionalism from legal services?

It literally re-defines the entire legal profession by the lowest common denominator.

Would the Doctors put up with this? A single regulator for surgeons, doctors, nurses, chiropractors and homoeopaths, and remove all the labels and call everyone a "healthcare practitioner". There would be a riot.

I'm starting to wonder whether these plans are drawn up by those dependent on alcohol and near constantly in a state of being "tired and emotional".
