I disagree that "These measures...ensure that the amount of legal work done is proportionate to the value of the claim" Due to the multiple procedural hurdles involved in litigation, the amount of legal work done will remain high, and solicitor's costs will remain unchanged. The only difference will be that a successful party will not be able to recover those costs, thus making justice even more unaffordable for the less well off.
