Not sure that Lupton Fawcett can so easily dodge the bullet on this. Given that this scam was apparently carried out over 8 years it seems odd that nobody else there had any idea what he was doing.
Their Litigation Dept should surely have wondered why they were sending threatening letters to disgruntled investors. Unless Pickard was sending the letters, in which case somebody should have wondered why he rather than the Lit Dept was doing so.
