"I told my insurer what I did for a living and said I would put together a detailed witness statement challenging that there was any chance that the claimant could have suffered any form of whiplash. That statement was sent to the claimant's solicitor in early September and to date my insurer has heard nothing back.

I think or perhaps presume (perhaps too much maybe) that my experience and expertise will have rocked the claimant's solicitors back on their heels and hopefully won't be taking this further.

If they do and when I win at court I will be contacting the police complaining about the defendant's attempted fraud and also instructing my insurer's solicitors to go for fundamental dishonesty."
