There is a hotel on North Parade, llandudno, which, according to trip adviser about five years ago, was the best in the world. I can assure you that it is not.

Yesterday, I was asked how I would rate an enquiry to Thames Water on a scale of 1-5. I replied 4. There then followed a five minute discussion as to why it would not be a 5. I was not subsequently even asked for one as a result.

A firm of solicitors I once knew offered conveyancing at £199 per transaction plus £1 per page of paperwork faxed. They faxed everything, of course with the result that the clients paid a lot more than £199 and possibly quite a bit more than their competition.

Moral? You can organise these performance websites so as to produce the result you want them to produce.
