Well, Verity, if a horse is one of the matrimonial assets it is rather difficult to split it down the middle. So, if agreement as to who is to have it cannot be reached, it has to be sold, doesn't it? I have known bitter disputes over other pets and people's attachment to horses can be very strong: see "Warhorse", for example.

Now where did my ex-wife put that one turkey, or did she get two to avoid any arguments...
