Arthur Robinson on 4th January with ref to struck off solicitors advising on everything under the sun (and even representing people at Court where the local judges appear to be ignorant of or blind to the strikings off and treat them as if they are still solicitors): I also know of this happening locally to us. But it seems to me (having been to the SRA roadshow on the subject a while back) that is the whole idea of the last SRA Handbook proposals - non insured non lawyers giving "legal advice" to "customers" who are apparently only looking for a "cheap" legal service and not for a properly trained and insured professional service
