I don't think any interviewer as ever asked "so on a scale of Paris Hilton to big momma on benefit street, how rich were you growing up"? Fact of the matter is you dress up, you speak properly and you walk in correct. I've had many a people walk in and start going on calling me "mate" and also some real toffs who walk in with an air as to not needing the job. You don't judge how much you pay them on anything but the merit of their experience. I question the motive of such research as surely the researcher had to believe such a gap exists for them to look into it in the first place. Which is why most of this stuff is just some researcher trying to earn his paycheque making tall claims. Also notice how they are pimping it as "could" be earning less? Ok sure so it's all hypothetical then. Idiots.
