Just attended the roadshow. Jackson and Underwood are in cahoots and the decision to implement fixed costs has so obviously already been made. BUT on behalf of all claimants, we must attend these meetings to tell them how fixed costs will destroy access to justice. Neither Jackson nor Underwood have any substance to their reasoning. They both get easily irritated if you ask a question to which they have no response, so keep pressing them for answers. Underwood's paper does not reflect the reality of the situation. It certainly does not represent the claimants' views. Therefore, it is disgraceful that it has been sent by Rupert to anyone who is attending these events (which, by the way, were not advertised and I had a fight to get an invite to one of these).
