When the courts are politicized and make rulings based upon prejudice, then respect for law demands criticism.

Lawyers and politicians are universally two of the most hated professions, and yet when they don a judicial robe, they all of a sudden become beyond reproach and are to be revered. Nonsense. The black robe confers no immunity from criticism.

President Donald Trump is right — the US court system is politicized. The Obama administration flooded it with judges that ruled in favor of advancing a left wing agenda. It’s no surprise the courts join with other left wingers to stop the agenda upon which President Trump was elected.

As recently as August 2016, a federal court ruled substantially the same as the position President Trump has taken, and another federal court ruled President Trump was correct in this particular case. But, what applied to the Obama administration, does not apply to the Trump administration if the judge issues rulings based on politics and not upon law.
