The certificate of admission is based on the directive. Yes, there's nothing preventing Ireland (or indeed any other country) to continue to recognise UK qualifications post-Brexit, but it won't have the effect of authorising the person to practise in other EU states as is currently the case.

It's worth remembering that in most other countries, such as Australia, Hong Kong and the US, UK qualified practitioners have to requalify.
