I have dealt with many claims where the insurers deny liability for spurious reasons. Clients sometimes make mistakes especially when they go for their medicals etc. Cases are dragged on often to the day before trial putting clients in a difficult and embarrassing position .Accusing someone of fraud without any concrete evidence is very distressing and upsetting .I think it is about time those clients who have been accused of fraud and are clearly not should sue for Defamation of character!
