Anon 28.09.17 11.40 - I'm not sure what's worse, the fact that you refuse to accept any blame for what the claimant industry (yes, you) has brought about, or any recognition that Anon 28.09.17 11.04 was absolutely right in that the public have little sympathy for you.

As for being young - he may be. You only have to be aged in your 30s to have witnessed the sheer explosion in the post-1998 period of claims v reduction in the number of RTAs.

It's a bit late in the day for you to agree that we need to ban the dancing Scousers in tv adverts and their free gifts. In my experience (20 years'), for every decent claimant solicitor handling clin neg or catastrophic injury claims, there were 25 handling fast track PI RTA matters and you know it.

Happy to criticise insurers' closeness to Govt but how about your sector being in bed with the DJs in Birkenhead County Court? Or the Partner in his 50s who turns a blind eye to phantom passengers. Or the rogue PI firms in the North West who ran claims to the door of the Court on CFAs with no ATE only to come off record when their dodgy client became all to obvious.

It can only be the claimant industry who damaged the reputation of the decent lawyers in the sector. May they rest in peace.
