The gaps in the system regarding a person's sensitive / private information, appears in part to work on in some part "if the person does not find out about the 'misuse', it's fair play". Having been a party whose information has been leaked by a variety of organisations and having now caught up with obtaining substantial proofs to the organisational skills of all involved; the information is useless when a lot of government agencies ( and the involved ombudsmen and complaints bodies) all run "disengagement policies" that are neither lawful or appropriate when it is only used to cover for mistakes and errors these same ones are entirely responsible for causing. Isn't that why The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman was found to have gagged over 20,000 complainants cases a year over a decade , using two pieces of government legislation not designed for the purpose it was used for ? Having met the staff of the PHSO for a face to face recorded meeting over three years ago, they still to date appear to be struggling in coming back to me regarding the issues l raised. One question I raised to the floor on the day they could not answer was whether their six solicitors ( out of a total of 650 staff) held practising certificates and what area's of expertise they in fact covered.
