It is a pretty pathetic state of affairs. Leaving aside the arguments on both sides of the fence, the lack of detail from the MOJ makes it impossible to properly prepare for any changes which are being proposed. After all during the last consultation they did not even confirm whether the trigger date was going to be the accident date, the date of issue of the date of entry into the portal. How on earth can you hatch a plan without even knowing these basics. As time goes by and the insurers keep announcing record profits the less likely it is, in my view, that the changes will come into operation.
