To Anon at 13:15 (etc), who “work[s] I’m insurance”. It’s all very well, slagging off claimants and their representatives but, frankly, if the insurance industry got its own act together then it would have far less to complain about (at which it is of course ironically very adept). The way some claims are dealt with is nothing short of a disgrace. I recently learned, on very good authority, of a Stage 3 hearing where damages of over £70,000 were awarded. Most of that figure comprised a claim for credit hire; yet for the Defendant ... no one turned up. As a motor insurance premium payer, this really gets my goat.
When you have got your own house in order, the rest of us might take more seriously what you have to say.
