They got away with recovering disproportionate Costs on a conveyer belt scale. Yes, that's £10 to £20k for every £2k whiplash in Birkenhead County Court, with Disposals every 10 or 15 minutes. The barrister who dealt with 40 to 80 matters per day was well known and of course went before the Bar Standards Board as he effectively controlled the AMC (in his wife's name of course).

In the rare event that the DCJ said this is OTT and demanded the file (another St Helens' outfit seeking £50k in Costs for a standard PI claim), the file of course was lost.

As for the other Anon who bizarrely claimed "there is no evidence" - er, how about the 500% UK explosion in holiday claims, unlike all of the other nationalities who stayed in the very same hotels!
