People either don't care because it happens to them or they think it is made up because it hasn't happened to them.

There are instances of fraud and malingering but soft tissue injuries exist and cause great discomfort. They are rightly things that give rise to compensation.

Removing access to equivalent compensation (tariffs over JC guidelines) and removing access to legal advice is wrong.

Insurers have won the argument in the press despite an incredibly shaky evidence base.

Cases like the one reported above are correctly defended and claimants like those deserve everything that comes their way. However, such cases are massively in the minority.
