I wrote the post you object to. Apologies for the odd typo as I was rushing on my lunch break.

You ask why is it necessary to pay a compliment re someone's hair in the workplace. It isn't; It's called being nice. If someone is offended, that says more about them.

Was it really that over the top what I wrote? In the article Suzanne Gill says women won't pursue leads because they suspect the target is more interested in an elegant pair of legs than a fine legal mind. What! How patronising of her to suggest that female lawyers are so weak and so fragile that even suspecting a man might find them attractive is enough for them to crumble and give up. This is ridiculous stuff. Men are being demonised just for potentially finding a woman attractive.
