I’m now 80 years old, well retired, and live in Cornwall. Every couple of months or so I take the train up to London to stay with my son and family. Many times on the tube train a woman or young lady has offered me her seat, which of course I gallantly decline but with profuse thanks for the kind gesture – even on Bodmin Road station a few days ago a charming middle-aged lady (Oops, is that sexist? If so I’m sorry!) offered to help me up the stairs to the platform with my case! I have searched to and fro’ on-line but can’t find any one to report them to! No male has ever made similar offers by the way, which only goes to prove that women are far more sexist than men.
