Just seen your post Martin Maloney and as per your request I have failed to resist the urge so I may once again respond to your assertions (assumptions). I would like to commend you for your tenacity and dedication to a matter you clearly don't seem to fully grasp. May I suggest you proceed with an open mind, free of political or other misconceptions. I shall not be drawn into semantics and words of art on this matter, the issues raised by the article are real, relevant and raw to many. The injustice suffered by those affected is by no means a simple matter and are insidiously repugnant and have no place in a truely democratic society. I suggest you spend your time and mental resources on trying to assist those affected by these draconian rules and state of affairs rather than trying to defend or placate the issues raised by the article.
