As has been pointed out the reason why we have more claims than some jurisdictions (and yes fewer than others) is that one does not assert rights when there is no benefit in so doing.

For example, if I could claim 1er cru claret every time my train was late I would have a fine cellar. I do not make a claim for delayed trains because I cannot recover any losses, this does not mean that I was not late.

As for any saving in premium, what a faecal miasma. Every year my quote premium on renewal is inflated, I shop around and get a new quote at more or less the same price as before . . . so if insurers cannot pass on existing savings* to existing customers what hope can we have that they will pass on addition savings?

Existing savings include not paying out £500 ish for ATE, reduced portal costs, reduced fees for experts, reduced costs in FT matters, elimiation of the old success fee etc etc and so on.
