How much more can we all take?

Crumbling courts, beauty parades operated in the future by the Land Registry, legal aid on its knees and digitisation of the Criminal Justice system, just to name but a few, of the many threats to the legal profession and the Rule of Law.

There have been many fine contributions made over the years by members of the profession on the numerous issues covered by this site.

However, if things are ever going to improve, I think we need as a profession to do rather more than that, since otherwise we shall just fade into irrelevance, and it will be the public which will suffer.
