I have been dealing with PI claims on both side for over 20 years and seen a lot of change. A tariff system is ridiculous.

What has the speed I was doing got to do with using the JCG to assess the value of injuries (including mine)? I suffered an injury so I use the JCG to value the injury together with case law.

I was wearing full protective clothing when I go knocked off my bike. What caused the whiplash was the impact of my head on the tarmac and the snap back caused by the deceleration from the impact. No amount of protective clothing will stop that. The helmet most likely saved severe road rash on my face and a possible head injury but not whiplash.
