As a non-lawyer, I find it beyond belief that insurers can refuse relief to victims because of the insured perpetrator's behaviour. It's not at all the same as refusing to pay for my burnt-out house, when I had not told them I regularly did chemistry experiments there.
Once again, it is a justification for the public's condemnation of judges if they collude in what has been called "abhorrent, disgusting", and "systematic malpractice".
