Anon 16.02, I can assure you that the vast majority of Government lawyers have absolutely no sniff of getting a gong (even if they wanted such). That said, the remuneration for public sector legal work compares very poorly to that of our private sector colleagues, so maybe we should be otherwise rewarded for sticking it out....
