This is a somewhat tangentialo point but here goes anyway.
I know nothing of this firm but any firm in which staff are being treated so badly that they suffer illness should face action.
If I were subjected to the sort of "management style" which made me ill I would be looking for both medical and legal advice.
I also think that staff employed in businesses which create such problems should get themselves into a trade union sooner rather than later (assuming they are not already in one).
